  13. TO INSTALL
  14. YOU ONLY NEED TO RUN THE SETUP PROGRAM IF YOU DON'T HAVE DIRECTX OR WING
  15. ON YOUR SYSTEM.
  16. The install program was designed to install the game from CD, but since this is the
  17. downloadable version of the game, you obviously already have all the files on your
  18. system.

  20. IF YOU NEED TO INSTALL DIRECTX OR WING simply run the setup program and
  21. check off only the install DirectX and WinG boxes.  You do not need to 
  22. reinstall the game itself!

  24. TO START
  25. Double-click on the Josephin.exe file in the Josephin directory on 
  26. your hard drive.

  28. OVERVIEW OF THE DEMO
  29. In this demo mission Josephine must infiltrate the facilities of an underground
  30. organization and disable their security system.  Once this is done she must
  31. find the exit (her point of entry was destroyed just after she entered) and 
  32. get out.  Killing bad guys along the way is optional but highly advised in 
  33. order to stay alive.

  35. Other missions in the game involve weapons retrieval, assassination of protected
  36. witnesses, presidential security and anti-terrorist activities to name a few.

  64. PERFORMANCE ISSUES

  66. Slower machines may have difficulty running the demo at an acceptable speed.
  67. There are two things you can do to help prevent this:
  68.     1) You can turn the floor textures off by pressing F1
  69.     2) You can decrease your turning resolution by hitting \
  70.            F6.  This toggles you through three different settings.
  71.            Try them and pick the one that works best for you.
